Our Summer Internship Program
An internship with us gives you the opportunity to work side by side with passionate problem solvers on powerful and fulfilling work. Our collaborative culture inspires you to learn from the expertise surrounding you and to share your own knowledge and experience with colleagues. You’ll be asked to speak up and challenge the status quo – you have a voice will be encouraged to use it.

Additionally, over the summer, there will be opportunities to participate in events just for our interns: social events with other interns, career development workshops, community service projects, and networking with senior leaders – just to name a few!

This Opportunity
The Syneos Health Human Resources team is seeking an energetic summer intern to join a fun-loving team of Employee Relations professionals. In this role, you will gain exposure to real-life employment situations, obtain industry knowledge, receive on the job training, and gain valuable career-enhancing HR skills. You will also have the opportunity to network with subject matter experts within the company as you learn and build your professional skills in HR and beyond. You will partner with different members of the Employee Relations team to learn our performance management process and assist with departmental projects.

What You’ll Do
• Design and develop informational content for the Employee Relations Center of Excellence intranet page
• Analyze case data to identify trends and develop recommendations based on findings
• Assist in the global expansion of the Employee Relations case management system
• Consult with other HR departments (Talent Acquisition, Training & Development, Talent Management, and so on) to determine how trends in ER data can influence other areas of the business

 

Your Skills & Expertise
• Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management
• Strong data analysis and attention to detail
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts in a practical manner
• Past internship experience or project work in Human Resources preferred
